Are you a preschool teacher, early childhood educator, or daycare professional looking for a fun and meaningful summer job?

Angels Baseball & Softball Camps is hiring Camp Counselors to work with young campers ages 46 throughout Southern California. This role is ideal for educators who love working with young children and want to spend their summer outdoors, active, and making a positive impact.

About the Role

As a Camp Counselor for ages 46, you will help create a safe, structured, and engaging environment where young campers are introduced to baseball and softball through age-appropriate games and activities.

No advanced sports experience is requiredwe provide all training, equipment, and curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and engage campers ages 46 in small group settings
  • Lead age-appropriate games, activities, and beginner sports instruction
  • Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
  • Support camper social development, teamwork, and confidence
  • Manage transitions, routines, and group behavior
  • Communicate positively with campers, parents, and staff
  • Collaborate with Site Director and fellow counselors
Qualifications
  • Experience as a preschool teacher, daycare teacher, or early childhood educator preferred
  • Experience working with children ages 36 (required)
  • Background in early childhood education, child development, or teaching is a plus
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Patient, energetic, and nurturing personality
  • Reliable and dependable
Schedule & Commitment
  • MondayFriday (~8-hour days)
  • Summer camp season: July August 2026
  • 36 week commitment preferred
Compensation
  • $16.90-22.00 (based on experience and qualifications)
