Server Assistant โ€“ Part Time

We are seeking dedicated Server Assistants to join our team working in the Troon Grill approximately 20 -25 hours per week. Candidates must be available for various shifts, including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC)
  • Promote an attitude of teamwork by assisting other team members on the floor and with side work
  • Fulfill both opening and closing side work on each shift
  • Ensure that tables, chairs, and setups are done prior to guest being seated
  • Continuously inspects the dining room for cleanliness and order throughout the shift and rectify issues promptly
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that each request is fulfilled in a timely manner
  • Maintain knowledge of all menu items and beverage offerings
  • Assist servers with delivering plates to tables and promptly replenish beverages
  • Clean and reset tables; practices consistent removal of used plates and/or glassware
  • Inventory all condiments in the cooler and retrieve more from dry goods if needed
  • Assists in other departments/club functions to help as needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
  • Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy trays
  • Strong ability to foster and maintain positive relationships with team members
Qualifications:
  • Previous fine dining serving experience preferred, though weโ€™re happy to train the right candidate
  • Friendly and guest-focused, with a strong commitment to providing outstanding service and creating memorable experiences for our members
