ESCOL Network is a music and entertainment company specializing in the Latin Christian Music Industry. The company provides various artists and label services, such as talent management, artist development, marketing, and music publishing.


This internship for college credit or hands on experience.


Qualifications:

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated student with a strong foundation in music publishing, copyright law, and current music industry practices. A solid understanding of the contemporary Latin Urban music landscape is required. Applicants must be actively enrolled in a college, university, or technical institution. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, resourcefulness, and a strong desire to learn. Strong computer proficiency is essential. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is preferred but not mandatory. Interns are expected to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week; however, we will make every effort to accommodate academic obligations.


The Music Publishing Intern will be tasked with the following:

  • Overseeing song catalog administration
  • Performing song registration audits
  • Drafting split sheets
  • Filing copyright registrations
  • Coordinating with artist management teams and producers to collect song details
  • Distributing producer agreements and split sheets for execution

  • Requirements:

    • Major or minor in a Music Business degree program
    • Understanding of music publishing and copyright law
    • Familiarity with Performance Rights Organizations


    The intern may also support special assignments, maintain databases, conduct research, answer phone inquiries, prepare written reports, proofread documents, and perform general administrative tasks such as scanning, organizing files, and making copies.
