We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong passion for mathematics to support learners working toward completing their diplomas or earning their GED. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students build confidence and skills in math.

Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in high school-level math topics (algebra, geometry, basic statistics, etc.) Support students preparing for the GED math exam Break down complex concepts in a clear, approachable way Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs and academic backgrounds Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment Encourage persistence, academic confidence, and problem-solving skills Qualifications Matheletes in Math, Education, Engineering, or related fields Ability to explain concepts clearly and work patiently with students at varying skill levels Experience working with diverse populations is highly valued Interest in education, tutoring, or mentoring Reliable, responsible, and organized Ideal Candidate Passionate about helping students who may have struggled in traditional school settings Comfortable supporting learners who have not completed high school Patient, encouraging, and culturally responsive Creative in finding different ways to explain math concepts What Youll Gain Hands-on teaching and mentoring experience Opportunity to make a real difference in students academic journeys Flexible scheduling over the summer Valuable experience for careers in education, public service, or STEM fields Join us in helping students build critical math skills and take the next step toward their educational goals!
