Position Overview

Are you passionate about mathematics, skilled at making complex equations understandable, and committed to helping students achieve excellence in standardized testing? Hive of Thinkrs is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Math and Test Prep Instructor to provide personalized tutoring and support for SAT and ACT prep, as well as high school level mathematics.
This position is ideal for educators who love making math concepts relatable and engaging while fostering strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Join our team and help students not only master mathematical contentbut also build the confidence to excel on their exams and beyond.
Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and interactive math lessons aligned with high school standards (Algebra, Geometry, Calculus).
  • Teach specialized strategies for the SAT and ACT math sections to improve student performance.
  • Provide individualized support and small-group tutoring to help students improve conceptual understanding and test-taking speed.
  • Design or adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse learning needs and age groups of students.
  • Administer and analyze diagnostic tests to track progress and refine instructional strategies.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and the Learning Experience Manager regarding student progress and growth plans.
  • Foster a positive, motivating, and "fun-meets-learning" environment where STEM feels like play.
