Cologne Academy seeks full-time (1.0 FTE) Mathematics Teacher

Description

Cologne Academy (PreKindergarten-8th Grade Public School) Cologne, MN is located in Carver County and currently enrolls approximately 750 students between our onsite and virtual academy.  Cologne Academy offers its students an enriched learning experience through the Core Knowledge curriculum and an individualized approach to learning.  Cologne Academy seeks professional educators who are passionate about contributing to its mission and vision that focuses on academics and character development.

Primary Responsibilities: 

? Analyze student reading and math assessment results 
? Create differentiated lesson plans with independent student work that reflects student need
? Monitor and supervise all classroom and outdoor activities to assure a safe, healthy and inclusive environment for all children 
? Collaborate daily with grade level teams
? Build strong relationships with students and families
? Hold high expectations for students, staff, and families
? Participate actively in regular meetings and professional development
? Lead large and small group activities 
? Implement grade level curriculum plans utilizing designated resources
? Maintains regular and punctual work attendance
? Additional duties as assigned









Education, Certifications, and Work Related Experience: 

? Bachelor's Degree or higher
? Current MN teaching license in the area of employment 
? Teaching experience valued
