Job description

Bayside Resort Golf Club is excited to announce openings for summer seasonal Recreation Attendants. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior customer service.
General Purpose:
Performs all recreation duties and activities in regard to facility operations to include youth programs, daily activity programs, holiday, special events, and conference activities.
Essential Duties:
  • Maintains cleanliness of facility operations according to established daily maintenance procedures.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of department programs, events, and activities.
  • Answers guest questions regarding such programs.
  • Records all cash, check, and charges based on established cash control procedures.
  • Maintains understanding of operating procedures for pool, bikes, boats, and fitness equipment.
  • Completes checklist for opening, closing, and daily procedures.
  • Assists in the implementation of programs, youth programs, special events, and conference recreation events.
  • Provides safe environment within facilities and activities.
  • Processes recreation reservations as needed.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:
  • No prior experience or training.

Physical Demands:
  • Frequently stands, uses hands, talks and hears
  • Regularly reaches with hands and arms, tastes or smells.
  • Occasionally walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls.
  • Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.

Environment/Noise:
  • Frequently works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather).
  • Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, may work in high, precarious places, and may come in contact with toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Noise level is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses:
  • CPR and First Aid Certification

  • Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
