Job description

Reybold, a growing Construction and Property Management company located in Bear, DE, is seeking a motivated and dependable laborer to join our commercial construction team. A General Laborer in Reybold's Construction Building Ops Department is responsible for any combination of the following duties as necessary for Landscaping, Fleet, and/or Construction Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use of powered equipment to perform tasks
  • Shoveling, raking, and spreading dirt, stone, blacktop, and other materials
  • Using small mechanical construction equipment such as plate tampers, rammers, and other small compaction equipment
  • Using small gas-powered hand tools such as cut-off saws, pumps, and post hold drillers
  • Sweeping debris from building sites
  • Loading trash and debris out of buildings
  • Cleaning building prior to occupancy
  • Spreading fertilizer and grass seed.
  • Laying Sod
  • Prune, trim, and plant trees, shrubs, and hedges
  • Willingly performs other labor tasks as needed
  • Light rough carpentry work including use of hand tolls and electric power tools including saws, drills and screwdrivers
  • Capable of being trained to operate a 10,000 lb. capacity telehandler to load material into and out of buildings
  • Ability to work independently

Additional Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and organizing materials in storage trailers
  • Cleaning and maintaining heavy and light equipment

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Entry Level Position no formal training or education needed
  • Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to operate small mechanical construction equipment and gas-powered hand tools
