Job description

Pine Hollow Club is seeking friendly, organized, and welcoming Pool Hosts/Hostesses to join our Food & Beverage team for the upcoming club season. If you enjoy creating a great first impression, staying organized in a fast-paced outdoor environment, and being part of a supportive team, we would love to meet you.
Our Pool Hosts play a key role in creating a smooth and welcoming experience for members and guests at the pool. This position is responsible for greeting members, managing seating and cabana flow, assisting with reservations, and helping maintain an organized and upbeat poolside atmosphere.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who are personable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a hospitality-driven outdoor setting during the summer season.
What You'll Do
As a Pool Host/Hostess, you will help create a warm, organized, and welcoming experience from the moment members arrive at the pool.
Member Experience
  • Greet members and guests warmly and professionally upon arrival at the pool area
  • Assist with seating, lounge chair areas, cabanas, and dining spaces
  • Help manage reservations, waitlists, and table flow with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain a polished and welcoming presence throughout the pool area
  • Answer member questions regarding seating, dining, and daily pool operations

Poolside Coordination
  • Manage the flow of the pool dining and seating areas to ensure efficient and balanced service
  • Communicate clearly with servers, bartenders, managers, and pool staff regarding guest needs and table status
  • Monitor wait times and communicate updates professionally to members and guests
  • Assist in maintaining an organized and comfortable poolside environment during busy periods

Operations & Organization
  • Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and general inquiries as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entry areas, and poolside service stations
  • Assist with light operational and service support tasks throughout the shift
  • Help prepare the pool area for daily opening and closing operations

Teamwork
  • Work closely with service staff and management to ensure a smooth and enjoyable member experience
  • Support the team during high-volume weekends, holidays, and club events
  • Participate in pre-service meetings and seasonal training sessions
