SUMMER COLLEGE STUDENT PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE PROGRAM for Production Worker (This is not an Internship)

Must be enrolled in School. Additional information may be required.

Fuyao Glass America Inc. offers:

Competitive Wages ($18.00 $19.20 per hour)

  • $35 credit towards steel toed shoes/boots
  • End of Summer Bonus, see below
  • Shifts: 1st shift 6:30am-3:00pm; 2nd shift 2:30pm - 11:00pm (Monday-Friday); 3rd shift 10:30pm-7:00am (Sunday pm-Friday am); OT available

This is an 8 week program with the option to extend to 12 weeks. You must agree to work a minimum of 8 weeks at FGA to be eligible for the end of summer bonus. Satisfactory completion of 8 weeks of work makes you eligible for an end of summer bonus of $1,000. After 8 weeks, any Summer Associate wishing to extend their agreement to the maximum 12 weeks, will receive an additional $500 dollars to be paid out at the successful completion of their 12th week.

Job Requirements- ALL SHIFTS (This is NOT an Internship)

Fuyao Glass America is seeking current or newly enrolled college students for immediate consideration in our summer program for manufacturing Production Associates. If you are a self-driven individual with a positive work ethic, teamwork mentality, and are looking for summer only employment and the opportunity for up to $1500 bonus at the end of the summer, we would love to speak with you! Must be willing to undergo a background check, and physical abilities assessment. Must be current college student or newly enrolled to qualify, and fulfill the summer program commitment Will be expected to work in a fast paced environment, stand the duration of assigned shift, and lift up to 55 pounds. Must Pass background and Physical assessment.

Job Description

The ideal candidate should be a quality and team driven individual who is eager to learn entry level manufacturing. . Responsible for assembling automotive glass to form complete units at a conveyor line. May include operations requiring the use of simple hand tools and/or activated power or special assembly tools. May include operations of computer systems, mobile devices and other networking equipment. May monitor data communication network on production lines to ensure accurate data processing for production.

In order to be eligible for the end of summer bonus, you are required to meet the following criteria:

  • No more than 2 call offs per month, during the Program.
  • Must have less than 3 points accrued for eligibility of the 8 -week bonus and less than 5 points accrued for eligibility of the 12- week bonus.

All bonus payments are subject to applicable taxes and deductions. There will be no advance payments of bonuses. There will be no prorated bonuses. This program is subject to reasonable change at managementโ€™s discretion.
