Job Title: Business Operations Intern (Multi-Disciplinary)

Location: Chick-fil-A – Alliance, Ohio

Position Type: Internship (Part-Time / Seasonal)

Position Overview

The Business Operations Intern program at Chick-fil-A Alliance is designed to provide hands-on experience across multiple areas of restaurant operations and leadership. This internship offers students the opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a real-world setting while developing professional skills in hospitality, operations, marketing, inventory management, and strategic planning.

Interns will have the opportunity to focus on one or more specialized tracks based on their field of study and career interests while contributing to key business initiatives and guest experience excellence.

Internship Tracks & Responsibilities

Hospitality Management (Hospitality, Communications, Business Majors)

  • Deliver exceptional guest service and create a welcoming environment
  • Assist in developing and implementing hospitality strategies that enhance guest satisfaction
  • Support event planning and execution, including community outreach initiatives
  • Help design and sustain systems that improve consistency in guest experience

Inventory Management (Business, Supply Chain Majors)

  • Assist with inventory tracking, ordering, and stock management
  • Analyze usage trends and support cost-control initiatives
  • Help implement systems to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure proper supply levels and minimize waste

Operations Management (Operations, Business Majors)

  • Support daily restaurant operations and workflow optimization
  • Assist in analyzing processes to improve speed, quality, and efficiency
  • Help develop and sustain operational systems and standard procedures
  • Participate in strategic planning initiatives to improve overall performance
