Private Chef/Household Manager: Job Description
About the Family
A warm and welcoming private family located in Bryn Mawr, PA, with a summer
residence in Longport, NJ, is looking to hire a dedicated and professional Chef (who can also manage basic household tasks) to join their household. They value discretion, reliability, and someone who will be a long-term fit and take pride increating a well-run, healthy, and inviting home environment.
Children: None in the household
Home Size: Two residences (primary in Bryn Mawr and a summer home in
Longport, NJ)
Pets: Small dog
Household Staff: The Private Chef / Household Manager will coordinate with
outside vendors and oversee completion of maintenance and repairs

Responsibilities
Private Cook Duties
Prepare fresh, healthy dinners daily during the week (generally the meal is for
a single family member)
Cook for small dinner parties and occasional casual gatherings (approximately
1x/every 2 months, more often during the summer season)
Grocery shopping and maintaining pantry inventory
Household Management Duties
Coordinate home maintenance and vendor scheduling (pool, repairs)
Manage household supplies and inventory
Maintain accurate spending records
Oversee the care and upkeep of car collection (service, cleaning, fueling)
Provide occasional chauffeuring (e.g., airport, trips to NYC)
Handle guest reception and household communications
