What is a summer graduate graphic designer?

Summer Graduate Graphic Designers are recent graduates or students in graphic design programs who take on temporary design roles during the summer months. They typically work on creative projects such as branding, digital media, print materials, and marketing campaigns under the guidance of senior designers. These positions provide hands-on experience, help build professional portfolios, and often serve as a stepping stone to full-time graphic design careers.

What types of projects and collaborations can a summer graduate graphic designer expect during their internship?

As a Summer Graduate Graphic Designer, you can anticipate working on a diverse range of projects, such as branding materials, social media graphics, and marketing collateral. It's common to collaborate closely with senior designers, marketing teams, and, at times, clients to understand project requirements and receive feedback. This environment offers valuable exposure to industry-standard design tools and workflows, as well as opportunities to present your ideas and refine your design process. The fast-paced nature of summer internships also encourages the development of time management and teamwork skills, preparing you for a full-time role in the field.
