We are looking for energetic, reliable, and positive individuals to join our team as Summer Gymnastics Camp Coaches! No gymnastics experience is required - we are happy to train the right people. This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys working with kids and creating a fun, safe environment.
What You'll Do:
  • Supervise and engage groups of children during camp activities
  • Lead games, obstacle courses, and basic movement activities
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and positive camp environment
  • Support campers of different ages and abilities
  • Communicate clearly with campers and fellow staff
  • Follow daily schedules and gym safety guidelines

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience working with children (camp counselor, teacher, aide, coach, babysitter, daycare, etc.)
  • Strong classroom or group management skills
  • Positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and redirect kids when needed
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Must be able to be active and on your feet throughout the day

Gymnastics experience is NOT required - we provide training. The most important qualification is the ability to connect with kids and keep them safe, engaged, and having fun.

  • Previous experience working as a teacher or in a fast-paced environment desired
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Able to lift and move mats, equipment, and students during hands on spotting (approx. 5-75 lbs)

  • Effective leadership and motivational skills for children of all ages

  • Know basic USA Gymnastics progressions or willingness to learn
  • Have a positive coaching style

Compensation: $15.95 - $22.00 per hour
Oregon Metropolitan Elite Gymnastics Academy known as OMEGA Gymnastics was founded in 2008 and is located in Beaverton, Oregon. OMEGA Gymnastics has gymnastics classes for students ages 18 month to adult in Recreational children's gymnastics, Competitive Gymnastics, Preschool, Camps, and Adult Classes.
