Position Summary
Childcare Aides are responsible for the care and supervision of children in the childcare center. Duties include assisting in activities, serving lunch, changing diapers in the infant and toddler rooms, leading outdoor play activities, cleaning the center before, during, and at the end of the day, and any additional duties that would normally be expected in a childcare setting. Must have a Central Background Registry (CBR) Number or the ability to obtain one. Please register at:

Note: This process can be lengthy and is required for all childcare staff. If you do not have an active CBR number, please start the free process immediately following the submission of this application.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
Assisting in activities, serving meals, changing diapers in the infant and toddler rooms, leading outdoor play activities, cleaning the center before, during, and at the end of the day, and any additional duties that would normally be expected in a childcare setting.

Specific Job Skills
  • License/Certifications: First Aid and Child CPR (online training is not acceptable). Must complete a minimum of two hours of training regarding child abuse and neglect, OCC-approved health and safety training, and safe sleep training within 30 days of employment.
  • Additional:A background check will be conducted before employment; a background in Child Development and Education is a plus but not necessary.
