What You'll Do?

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Mennonite Village, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our beloved residents! Your day will be filled with meaningful interactions as you adhere to individualized care plans, providing essential hygiene and general care for their skin, hair, and more. You'll support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while ensuring their dignity and privacy are always maintained. Monitoring and documenting fluid and nutritional intake, alongside vital signs, will keep you engaged and connected to each resident's unique needs.

Plus, there's no shortage of emotional support and encouragement as you motivate residents to participate in various activities. With a focus on safety, you'll expertly assist with mobility and transfers, using equipment like Hoyer lifts and gait belts. Every day will be a chance to celebrate compassion and service while making a positive impact in their lives!

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid CNA certification in Oregon
  • CPR/AED required within first 120 days of employment.
  • Experience in long-term care preferred.
