JOB SUMMARY

Prepares and stocks golf carts while providing a high level of customer service to members and their guests.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Stages carts for daily play.
  2. Prepares carts for members use; stocks and maintains carts before and after each use.
  3. Greets members and assists members and guests with the loading of their golf clubs on the cart.
  4. Cleans golf clubs and returns clubs to bag room.
  5. Assists with the maintenance of the driving range; picks up range balls and cleans them.
  6. Provides additional support to other areas of the course as needed.
  7. Prepares stored member clubs for play based on tee sheet.
  8. Cleans and maintains organization of bag storage area.
  9. Ensures clean and well organized cart staging, storage and bag room areas.
  10. Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the club and the Company by being service- and solution-oriented, having positive interactions with all club staff and members/guests, and meeting established quality, service and safety expectations.
  11. Performs additional assignments per the direction of club or Company managers.
  12. Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required.

WORK HOURS AND CONDITIONS

Work hours may include early mornings and evenings on weekdays, weekends and holidays. Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions. May be exposed to inclement (non-threatening) weather, plant protection products, fertilizers, misdirected golf balls, and sharp and rapid equipment movement on a daily basis. Injury may result as a result of exposure to the above if safety policies and practices are not properly followed.

  1. Ability to operate golf carts in a safe manner
  2. Must be able to communicate verbally to members.
  3. Able to provide a high level of customer service with attention to detail.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Knowledge of golf preferred
  2. Previous experience in a customer service position preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Seeing and hearing: read documents, computer screen, answer phones, communicate in person 0-24%
  • Standing and walking 50-75%
  • Climbing, stooping, squatting and kneeling 0-50%
  • Dexterity: utilizing phone, typing, writing and Driving 0-50%
  • Lift in excess of 25 pounds 0-24%
