Position Summary:

Are you looking for a summer job that keeps you active, is rewarding, and fun?  Join our team as a Summer Camp Counselor and help create an engaging, safe, and inspirational experience for school-age children. If you enjoy working with kids, being part of a team, and making a difference every day - this is the role for you!


Pay & Schedule:

Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 6:30 AM-5:45 PM

Schedule: Full-Time 30-40 hours per week (June through mid-August 2026)

Shift: Schedules vary based on staffing needs

Starting Pay: $15.00/hour

What You'll Do

As a Summer Camp Counselor, you'll support the teaching team in creating a positive, structured, and engaging experience for children.

In this role, you will:

  • Help lead fun, age-appropriate activities and support learning and development
  • Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth
  • Supervise children to ensure a safe environment at all times
  • Use positive guidance to encourage good behavior and problem-solving
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
  • Help keep the classroom organized, clean, and ready for learning
  • Support daily routines like snacks, hygiene, and transitions
  • Assist your team in delivering a high-quality summer program

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Have a high school diploma/GED (or be working toward one)
  • Childcare experience is preferred, not required - we're happy to train the right person!
  • Have reliable transportation and a strong commitment to being on time
  • Feel confident interacting with children and communicating with parents
  • Be willing to complete required training once hired (CPR/First Aid, etc.)
  • Be able to stay active throughout your shift, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
