WAGE:

  • Greater Seattle Area Bike & Trail Instructors: $21.30 /hour
  • Bike Instructors trained to teach Future Newbee classes will receive an extra $1/hour when assigned to Future Newbee classes
  • Tacoma Bike Instructors $20/hour

What you’d be responsible for:

In addition to sharing your ideas on how we can grow, learn and build, in this role, you’ll also be:

  • Teaching our daily Pedalheads camp programs for children ages 2-12 years
  • Actively introduce children new bike skills
  • Ensure the health and safety of children at camp
  • Act as a positive role model and leader at all times
  • Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Here are some of the skills / specifics that are important for this role:

  • You will be at least 16 years of age by the start of camp
  • Comfortable leading a group of up to 6 children (training provided)
  • Committed to keeping our campers safe
  • You are energetic, creative,motivatedand fun
  • Hold or willing to get a current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certificate
  • Criminal record checkrequiredfor ages 18+
  • You have access to a bike and helmet and can ride a bike proficiently
