Business Title:
- Summer Camp Counselor
Job Purpose:
- To provide a fun, safe, and engaging summer camp experience for children of designated age groups, fostering their personal growth, social skills, and appreciation for recreational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and lead daily camp activities, ensuring age-appropriateness and engagement.
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times, maintaining proper camper-to-staff ratios.
- Implement established camp curriculum and adapt activities based on camper interests and needs.
- Facilitate group dynamics, encouraging teamwork, cooperation, and positive interactions among campers.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding camp activities, camper progress, and any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and other relevant camp documentation.
- Enforce camp rules and regulations consistently and fairly.
- Set up and clean up camp facilities and equipment daily.
- Collaborate with other camp staff to ensure smooth camp operations.
- Respond to emergencies and administer first aid as needed.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
- Adhere to all City of Belmont policies and procedures.

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
- Experience working with children in a camp setting or similar environment.
- Experience leading and supervising groups of children.
- Experience planning and implementing activities for children.
Required Skills and Abilities:
