Summer 2027 Finance Internship

Job Summary:

As a Finance intern at Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation (Cat Financial), you will be assigned to a specific department and given at least one project to work on for the duration of the internship. You will be expected to use your analytical skills and work independently. At the end of the summer, you will prepare and deliver a presentation to management on the details of your project. You'll gain professional and personal growth through the program, and you will also have opportunities to interact with senior leaders and other interns through group activities such as social events and leader presentations.

Responsibilities:

Establish working relationships with a variety of functional areas across the company. Maintain and/or develop reports with minimal instruction and translate data into meaningful information. Analyze financial and/or technical data and market trends as it relates to the business. Contribute strategically and provide recommendations for process enhancements.

Internship Location:

Nashville, TN

Internship Program Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled full-time in a 4-year university/college in one of the following degree programs:

Business majors or other relevant degrees at the time of application and throughout the program.

  • Minimum 3.0/4.0 Cumulative GPA
  • Must be able to relocate to indicated work location for the duration of the internship and complete daily work commute using reliable transportation.

Desired Program Qualifications:

  • Have 90 completed semester hours before the start of the internship.

Additional Information:

  • This is a 40-hour per week assignment, Monday through Friday, lasting 9 weeks in the summer.
  • This position requires working onsite five days a week.

Summary Pay Range:

$23.00 - $40.25

Intern Hour Rate:

An intern's hourly rate is based on the major/degree being pursued and the number of completed academic hours achieved before the start of the internship.
