Job description

Looking for a fun summer job in the Outer Banks? Apply now to join the VayKLife team as a Delivery Driver.

Spend your summer driving along the beautiful OBX coastline, delivering beach gear to vacation homes, and helping guests enjoy their time at the beach. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being active, working outdoors, and being part of a fast paced team during the busy summer season.

While this role is primarily delivery focused on weekends, team members will also support warehouse operations during the week to keep gear organized and ready for guests.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver beach gear to vacation homes across the Outer Banks

  • Drive company vehicles and transport equipment safely

  • Assist with trailer setup and delivery operations after training

  • Prepare and inspect beach gear to ensure it is guest ready

  • Support warehouse organization and equipment upkeep

  • Assist with gear pickup and delivery operations on weekends and some weekdays

  • Follow all safety and operational procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Comfortable driving company vehicles and backing a trailer

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs

  • Enjoy working outdoors in a fast paced environment

  • Team player with a strong work ethic

  • Mechanical aptitude or comfort working with equipment is a plus
