About This Role

We are looking for a Camp Counselor to supervise and teach young campers this summer from June - August.


You'll be responsible for overseeing and planning their activities to ensure they have a fun and safe summer experience. The job duties include playing games, engaging with children, preparing activities, and providing a clean, safe environment. Being reliable and able to build good relationships with children are two essential traits of a Camp Counselor. If you're patient, energetic, and love working with children we would like to meet you!


Full Time and Part Time Positions Available


What You'll Do

Responsibilities

  • Plan indoor and outdoor activities for groups of campers
  • Lead recreational and educational activities
  • Escort and oversee children ranging in ages from 3- 10.
  • Set up and maintain equipment indoors and outdoors
  • Resolve occasional arguments between children and address behavioral issues
  • Make sure all safety rules are followed
  • Ensure space is clean

Skills

  • Proven experience as Camp Counselor or similar role working with children
  • Patient and reliable
  • Organizational and communication skills
  • A love for working with children
  • Energetic and positive personality
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job such as running, standing, and moving with students
