In this role, you'll partner closely with hiring leaders and HR colleagues to deliver full-cycle recruiting for professional-level positions across the organization. You'll bring market insight, sound judgment, and a consultative approach to each search-balancing business needs with an exceptional candidate experience. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced recruiter who values collaboration, integrity, and building long-term relationships-and who finds purpose in connecting people to meaningful work.
Essential Functions:
  • Performs full-life cycle recruiting for primarily professional positions at EMC.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to identify and clarify job specifications and develop recruiting strategies.
  • Sources candidates through social media, advertising, and career fairs, and internal/external networks.
  • Reviews applications/resumes, pre-screens candidates, and refers qualified candidates to hiring manager.
  • Communicates with hiring managers to identify targeted qualified candidates, facilitate the offer and pre-employment background check verification process, as well as complete any additional reference checks.
  • Leverages recruiting knowledge, sourcing strategies and competitive market intelligence to help drive recruiting strategies, including hard to fill positions, and influence internal stakeholders on recruitment activities and programs in compliance with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and EEO goals.
  • Works closely with Talent Acquisition Manager as well as other recruiters to solidify a diverse candidate pool.
  • Provides navigational support and hiring resources to hiring managers and other users related to applicant tracking system and talent acquisition processes and workflows.
  • Attends career fairs and establishes relationships with schools to market EMC as an employer of choice.
  • Supports the EMC Internship Program by assisting with the coordination of internship activities throughout the summer.
  • Posts positions, monitors, and maintains the Workday applicant tracking system updated for recruiting and onboarding components, ensuring transactions are actively moving through the process.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Three years of recruiting experience or related experience (prior insurance industry experience preferred)
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred)
  • PHR or SHRM-CP designations preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, talent acquisition processes and behavioral interviewing techniques
  • Excellent human relations skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Strong ability to drive the recruitment process by engaging with hiring managers
  • Occasional travel required; a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle report per company standards required if driving

The hiring salary range for this position will vary based on geographic location, falling within either of the following:
$66,294 - $91,570 or $73,245 - $100,731
A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range. The actual salary will depend on several factors, including relevant education, skills, and experience of an applicant, geographic location, and business needs.
