We are looking for a motivated and dependable Accounting Associate who thrives in a collaborative environment and values accuracy, organization, and client service. Your Role as a Senior Accounting Associate


In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate general ledger records
  • Maintain payroll records and prepare federal and state payroll tax returns. Prepare state sales tax returns.
  • Preparation of income tax returns
  • Completing monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and summaries for clients
  • Maintaining organized and audit-ready financial documentation
  • Communicating with clients to request information, answer questions, and resolve discrepancies professionally and timely
  • Utilizing accounting software and firm tools efficiently; experience with QuickBooks, UltraTax or similar software is beneficial
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations while maintaining confidentiality of client information
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a CPA firm or professional services environment
  • Associate’s degree in accounting; Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with accounting principles and financial software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative mindset with a high standard of ethical conduct and professionalism
