SEASONAL THRIFT STORE TEAM MEMBER (JUNE - SEPTEMBER)

LOOKING FOR A SUMMER JOB WITH CONSISTENT HOURS AND SUNDAYS OFF?

One Vision Thrift Solutions is seeking energetic and dependable Seasonal Team Members to join our team at the One Vision Thrift Store in Waterloo from June through September. This is a part-time seasonal position averaging 16-20 hours per week.

Whether you're a student, teacher, someone looking for extra income, or simply enjoy working with people, we'd love to have you join our team this summer!

ABOUT ONE VISION

One Vision is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities by advancing independence, inclusion, and meaningful opportunities within their communities.

Our One Vision Thrift Stores play an important role in supporting this mission by generating funding for services that make a difference in the lives of those we serve.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Accept and sort donations from the public
  • Process, price, and prepare merchandise for sale
  • Assist with product flow and inventory management
  • Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Stock merchandise on the sales floor
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Cash handling experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform physical activities including lifting, carrying, reaching, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
SCHEDULE

Seasonal Team Members are expected to be available during store operating hours:

Monday - Saturday | 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

  • Part-time schedule averaging 16-20 hours per week
  • Must be available to work Saturdays
  • Closed Sundays and major holidays
  • Seasonal employment runs approximately June through September
