Summer Camp Assistant Director / Site Supervisor

YMCA of Collier County   - NaplesLocation

 Are you a strong leader with a passion for youthdevelopment? Join the YMCA of Collier County and help create a safe, enriching,and memorable summer experience for children in grades K-8.

 The Summer Camp Assistant Director/Site Supervisor isresponsible for the overall development, implementation, and supervision of theSummer Camp Program, working closely with the School Age Manager. This roleleads a team dedicated to delivering high-quality school-age care whileupholding YMCA standards and Department of Children and Families (DCF)regulations.

 Responsibilities:

  •  Oversee daily operations of the Summer Camp Program
  •  Lead, supervise, and support Program Counselors
  •  Ensure compliance with YMCA policies and DCF regulations
  •  Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback tostaff
  •  Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging environment forcampers (K-8th grade)
  •  Communicate regularly with the School Age Manager andsubmit required reports
  •  Build positive relationships with families, staff, andcommunity partners
  •  Model YMCA core values: caring, honesty, respect, andresponsibility

 Qualifications:

  •  Experience in youth development, camp leadership, orschool-age programming
  •  Previous supervisory or leadership experience (preferred)
  •  Strong knowledge of child care licensing and DCFregulations
