Job Summary

Are you interested in helping companies thrive through innovative thinking, structured problem solving and the implementation of information technology systems?ย  Consider learning more about the Consulting Practice at Wipfli.ย  Our consultants work closely with our clients to help them optimize their value streams โ€“ the way they deliver value via products and services to their customers.ย ย ย 

More specifically consulting interns get involved with our clients in the following project experiences:ย ย 

  • Analysis and configuration of various ERP software systemsย ย 
  • Stay updated on the latest features and updates for Sage Intacct, Oracle NetSuite, Procore and Microsoft Business Central systems. Participating in training and knowledge-sharing sessions. ย 
  • Conduct research and provide recommendations for best practices in financial and ย 
    operational processes within the designated systemsย ย 
  • Assist in documenting project and process requirementsย ย 
  • Business analysis and project management associated with industry software solutions in a wide variety of industriesย ย 
  • Shadow and contribute to client meetings, demos, and feedback sessionsย 
  • Engage in collaborative projects, including sandbox environments and demo buildsย 
  • Exposure to Lean principles in all that we doย 
  • Proactively engage in training and learning opportunities to enhance your related skillsย 
  • Participate in internship capstone projects and feedback loops to enhance program

Qualifications:ย 

  • Pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or other related field.ย 
  • Above average class performance as demonstrated by college GPA; Preferred 3.0 GPA or higherย ย 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.ย ย 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsย ย 
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.ย ย 
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.ย ย 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.ย ย 
  • Ability to build and foster professional business relationshipsย ย 
  • Desire to help companies maximize value by leveraging technology and process improvementย ย 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Wipfli will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status)ย

This role requires a hybrid work arrangement.ย  At Wipfli, hyrbid work is defined as associates regularly working 2-3 days a week in a Wipfli office or at client sites.ย  The client sites can vary locally, regionally, or nationally depending on the industry alignment. Scheduled meetings at the client and in the office require in-person attendance.
