Job description

POSITION: ย BUS OPERATOR / Summer Programs

CLASSIFICATION:
School Bus Operator for the 2026ย Summer Program / Energy Express

LOCATION:ย  Marlintonย Elementaryย School
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicant must possess a high school diploma or GED and must complete all state requirement for a school bus operator and execute job duties assigned by the Transportation Director, as needed.
ASSIGNMENT:
Assignment: Morning and Afternoon runs. Assignment and times are to be determined by the Transportation Director upon the completion of the summer school program enrollment. Students will be picked up along county main routes. Successful Applicant may be needed for any day trips that may be scheduled throughout the duration of the summer school program.
SALARY:
Daily rate of pay, available due to funding source provided by Federal Programs.
Pending adequate staffing and student enrollment.ย ย Paid holidays are not part of this contract.
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:
June 22, 2026 - July 31, 2026

BUS OPERATOR SHIFT:
Bus operator shift shall coincide with the Summer School scheduled hours. Energy Express and Summer school hours are from 8 AM - 3PM each day.
