General Function: 

Duties of Position (Include but not limited to):

Answer phones 

Greet visitors 

Special projects 

Assist faculty/staff/students, 

Schedule appointments   

Check-in/intake of students 

Make copies 

Data entry 

Give directions 

Qualifications 

Education Requirements:
In order to apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student and registered for a minimum of 6 credit hours for each semester (fall/spring) you are working. For the summer session, student aides must be registered for at least 3 credit hours in summer or at least 6 credit hours for the following fall semester. Be eligible for English 097 or higher.

Experience Requirements:
Some general office or customer service experience preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual students are always needed but this is not a requirement of the job.

Schedule Information:
Work schedule will be determined based on student's availability. Must have some availability to work during the following weekday hours:

Monday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Tuesday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Wednesday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Maximum hours per week:
20 hours
