Community Impact Programs is now hiring for the Middle School Liaison with the Youth Outreach program!

Are you passionate about helping at-risk students achieve their greatest potential? Join our team as the Middle School School Liaison with Community Impact Programs! CIP is a community-based social services organization seeking talented professionals like you to join our team.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Youth Outreach program facilitates a team of Liaisons at elementary, middle, and high schools throughout the Kenosha Unified School District to support youth who are at risk of academic failure, dropout, truancy, delinquency, gang involvement, and/or drug or alcohol abuse. As the Middle School Liaison, you will work with students and families to promote educational success through intervention and support services at assigned middle schools within KUSD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MIDDLE SCHOOL LIAISON:

  • Create, implement, and review individual client treatment plans.
  • Monitor client behavior and school achievement by conducting daily in-school checks.
  • Organize structured group, individual/family education or treatment, and recreational activities.
  • Update parents/guardians on client progress and provide problem-solving interactions.
  • Attend court hearings with client and family as needed. Training is provided on this.
  • Provide supervision and support to youth placed in the Summer Youth Employment Program.

LOCATION: Kenosha, WI. Local travel may be required to meet with clients and families within KUSD school buildings, family homes, or other community spaces. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

SCHEDULE: Full-time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday during school hours with some after-school hours as needed to accommodate client needs. Position is year-round and will continue full-time employment during the summer.

SALARY: $21.00 per hour

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related is required.
