Senior Program Manager

Location: Scott Air Force Base, IL
Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance
Employment Type: Full-Time

(This position is contingent on contract award)
POSITION SUMMARY
Sumaria Systems is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support a Flying Squadron Functional Support effort at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. This position is contingent upon contract award.
The Program Manager will serve as the primary point of contact between the Government Contracting Officer, COR, Squadron Leadership, Group Leadership, and Wing Leadership. The successful candidate will oversee contractor personnel and ensure execution of squadron support services that enable mission readiness and operational effectiveness.
Candidates with prior Air Mobility Command (AMC) experience, flying squadron operations experience, Stan/Eval experience, or former AMC aircrew backgrounds are highly desired.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
โ€ข Serve as the single point of contact for all contract performance matters.
โ€ข Provide leadership and oversight of contractor personnel supporting flying squadron operations.
โ€ข Coordinate directly with Government leadership to ensure successful execution of contract requirements.
โ€ข Support aircrew scheduling, training management, Stan/Eval, administrative, and EFB support functions.
โ€ข Prepare and present status reports, metrics, and briefings.
โ€ข Ensure continuity of operations and compliance with contract requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
โ€ข Active Secret Security Clearance.
โ€ข Minimum 8 years supporting military aviation operations or Air Mobility Command organizations.
โ€ข Minimum 5 years of program management or supervisory experience.
โ€ข Experience working directly with senior military leadership.
โ€ข Strong communication and organizational skills.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
โ€ข Former AMC Aircrew Member.
โ€ข Experience supporting Air Force flying operations.
โ€ข Experience with Squadron Operations, Training, or Stan/Eval functions.
โ€ข PMP Certification.
