Position Summary

The Premium Suite Runner assists the Suite Attendants and Premium Services Manager in providing guests with a pleasant experience. The Premium Suite Runner is primarily responsible for preparing and stocking the Suites Areas and pantry with the appropriate product, utensils & supplies. They assist in the setup and execution of preordered food and beverage items as well as the delivery of restaurant orders during the event. Following the event, the Premium Suite Runner will ensure the pantry is cleaned and restocked.

This role pays an hourly rate of $30.00 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in the areas of guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards.
  • Take pride in personal appearance, reporting to work in neat and clean clothing and maintaining well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by company policy.
  • Responsible for setup of food service areas within specific suites or club areas based upon pre-orders and day-of orders.
  • Ensures all assigned areas are set prior to the event based upon communication received of orders.
  • Demonstrate the ability to read and comprehend Banquet Event Orders.
  • Monitors and maintains food and beverage quality.
  • Monitors and maintains inventory control and product requisition fulfillment.
  • Full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments.
  • Responsible for observing guests to respond to any additional requests.
  • Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  • Assures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to the start of an event.
  • Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and taking action to cut off alcohol to such individuals.
  • All other duties as assigned by food and beverage management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience serving in a premium setting.
  • Possess a valid food handling and alcohol service certificate if required by state and federal regulations (or be willing to obtain one within a 60-day time frame from date of hire).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, management staff, volunteers, and guests.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, some holidays, and long hours.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service, organization, and time management.
  • Ability to work with a variety of personalities, keeping a positive attitude and a solution-based outlook.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to remain focused in a loud and busy environment.
