Pay Rate: $17.45
SUMMARY:
SAVOR / ASM Global / SMG, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, is seeking a motivated and service-driven Catering Suite Runner / Expo to join the Food & Beverage team at accesso ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington. This part-time, event-based role is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of food and beverage items to premium suites and catering locations, while providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
This position plays a key role in enhancing the guest experience by ensuring quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure food prepared by the kitchen matches the food ordered on the suite receipt and catering contracts.
  • Assist Suite Attendants and Caterers as needed with maintaining the cleanliness and delivery of food for all suite/catering locations.
  • Responsible for the completion of opening and closing duties assigned by the Suites and Catering Manager or Supervisor.
  • Adhere to company and state guidelines when pouring drinks.
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPECTATIONS
  • Deliver a positive, polished, and professional guest experience at all times.
  • Communicate clearly, courteously, and effectively with guests and team members
  • Anticipate guest needs and take initiative to resolve issues quickly
  • Demonstrate a team-first mindset in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Uphold the organization's commitment to hospitality, quality, and excellence

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
  • Current and valid Food Handler's Permit and Mixology Permit required
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for the duration of scheduled shifts
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be flexible and willing to cross-train in multiple service roles
  • Must successfully pass a background and credit check

Benefits:
Employees are eligible to join the 401K after working 1000 hours in a 365 period. Holidays worked are paid at time and a half. Sick Time is accrued at 1 hour for every 30 worked and can be used in 2-hour increments or more. Employees (and family) will be eligible for Medical, Dental & Vision benefits when completing 1560 hours in a 365-day time frame.
