Job description

Ready to take ownership of an entire Fleet?
Location: De Pere, WI office with travel to the Sheboygan plant a couple days a week
This role will be solely responsible for the both the planning and driver manager accountabilities for either a medium sized fleet or several smaller fleets. You must be a motivated self-starter and willing to take on a challenge. You will be expected to plan drivers and freight while meeting customer expectations as well as manage driver engagement, retention, and overall scorecard performance. You will support our values of Safety and What Drives You.
What Are Your Key Responsibilities?
  • Responsible for direct supervision of a group of drivers, routes, and service to ensure the highest quality of customer service and safety.
  • Build strong relationships with your driver team through integrity and accountability.
  • Maintain high asset utilization to ensure profitability.
  • Manage freight within the required HOS regulations and DOT regulations.
  • Approve driver pay and driver bill of lading (BOL) submission.
  • Be decisive, forward thinking, and provide solutions to driver needs and issues.
  • Coach your driver team to success and safety compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain driver schedule ensuring the correct number of drivers are on hand while monitoring hours worked.
  • Build and maintain strong connection with customer.
