Location: Laurens, SC shop and up to 75% travel

As a McCall-Thomas Substation Maintenance Technician, you will be joining a team of dedicated individuals committed to our mission of providing quality solutions and services to each of our clients. The responsibilities for this role include:
  • Testing of High, Medium, and Low voltage electrical power equipment including but not limited to Circuit Breakers, Regulators, Transformers, and Switchgear
  • Operating test equipment including but not limited to Power Factor Tester, Ductor, Megger, Hi-Pot, AC/DC volt-ohm-millimeters, and various kinds of hand-held power and non-power tools related to the power industry
  • Infrared testing
  • Prepping and painting power equipment

What Will You Need:
  • High school diploma
  • Valid driver's license
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • 2+ years of prior electric utility experience preferred
  • Ability to travel/work OT as needed
