About AppDirect

Become a digital, global citizen and enable the new generation of digital entrepreneurs around the world. AppDirect offers a subscription commerce platform to sell any product, through any channel, on any device - as a service. We power millions of subscriptions worldwide for organizations. We do this by our values-driven culture-one that enables you to Be Seen, Be Yourself, and Do Your Best Work.

About You

You are a Senior Manager, Web Strategy & AI Experience who is equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up your sleeves to get things done. You have a strong command of modern front-end ecosystems and you actively integrate AI tools into daily development and content workflows, including LLM-driven coding environments like Cursor, Lovable or similar. You understand how AI systems discover and rank content, and you apply that understanding to shape web strategy at the source. You communicate clearly across design, engineering, product, and marketing, translating business objectives into concrete digital initiatives. You lead and develop technical teams with a coaching mindset, setting clear expectations while creating space for growth. Managing stakeholders at a senior level comes naturally to you, and you're comfortable owning a roadmap end to end.

What you'll do and how you'll have an impact

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of AppDirect's corporate website and customer-facing web applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead AI integration across the team's workflows - identifying, testing, and implementing tools for development acceleration, content generation, prototyping, and UX personalization.
  • Drive LLM-aware content and SEO strategy, ensuring digital content is discoverable by both human audiences and AI systems.
  • Manage and mentor a team of full stack web developers working with the latest AI & Web technologies (we are largely tool agnostic) , setting performance standards and supporting professional development.
  • Partner with design and UI teams to evolve the component library and design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and responsiveness across all digital touchpoints.
  • Improve site performance through technical optimization, structured data, experimentation, and conversion testing.

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years of experience leading web application development, digital product management, or content architecture, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Hands-on experience with React, Next.js, web infrastructure, vibe-coding tools, postgres databases, and medallion archietecture.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating AI tools into development or content workflows, including LLM-driven coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Lovable, or Bolt).
  • Proven experience with technical SEO, performance optimization, structured data, and LLM-aware content strategies.
  • Experience managing technical teams and driving cross-functional initiatives with product, design, and marketing stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills - because this role requires translating complex technical decisions into clear direction for non-technical partners and senior leadership.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and iterative ways of working - because the AI landscape shifts quickly and this role requires continuous evaluation and reprioritization of tools and approaches.
