About the Portfolio Marketing Team

The Portfolio Marketing team supports AppDirect's subsidiary Business Units by owning and executing integrated marketing aligned to each BU's growth priorities. The team exists to build and scale a marketing engine that accelerates growth across subsidiary brands while preserving brand equity and aligning to AppDirect's vision of simplifying how technology is bought, sold, and managed. Portfolio marketers operate as embedded, BU-focused generalists - accountable for turning strategy into execution across channels and driving measurable business impact. While the team collaborates with Corporate Marketing discipline experts when appropriate, Portfolio Marketing is a distinct function with day-to-day ownership of BU marketing planning, prioritization, and delivery. Our role is to ensure each subsidiary has focused, accountable marketing support aligned to Sales and Product, while selectively leveraging corporate capabilities to scale impact.

About You

As a Marketing Manager, you will serve as the primary marketing referent for an assigned subsidiary Business Unit - Firstbase. You will translate BU strategy into integrated marketing plans and drive execution that delivers measurable business results. The position offers a hybrid schedule: you will work once a week onsite and four days on remote.

(*) It's not a leadership position, it's an individual contributor.

What you'll do and how you'll have an impact

  • Develop and execute integrated annual and quarterly marketing plans
  • Own campaign strategy across digital, events, content, and enablement
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on product launches and go-to-market initiatives
  • Establish campaign KPIs and measure performance against pipeline and revenue goals
  • Translate business priorities into marketing programs with clear ROI expectations
  • Manage and prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Oversee external contractors or agency partners when applicable
  • Identify cross-sell and shared opportunities across the portfolio
  • Present marketing results and insights to BU stakeholders
  • Continuously refine programs based on performance data and Voice of Customer insights

What we're looking for

  • 5-7 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in SaaS, technology, telecom, or services
  • Experience owning marketing strategy for a product line, BU, or revenue segment
  • Strong understanding of direct and/or channel go-to-market models
  • Demonstrated ability to drive measurable pipeline impact
  • Strong stakeholder management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to balance autonomy with cross-functional collaboration
  • Comfort presenting performance insights and recommendations
  • Ownership mindset with strong business acumen
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and streamline day-to-day workflows
  • Advanced understanding of marketing KPIs, funnel metrics, and pipeline reporting
  • Experience designing and executing A/B tests and performance experiments
