Job description

We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Mobile Service Technician to join our Mark Miller Subaru service team. This role is responsible for performing scheduled maintenance services and manufacturer recalls at customer locations. The position does not require major mechanical repairs but demands a strong focus on quality, professionalism, and customer interaction.

The role will contribute to the development of the Mobile Service program, working closely with leadership to enhance the customer experience and establish a strong foundation for future growth and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, brake inspections, and recall work using a mobile service vehicle.
  • Ensure all work is completed in strict accordance with Subaru factory standards and safety procedures.
  • Reviews guest service history in the DMS, Subaru Net, Carfax, applicable platforms for assigned appointments.
  • Contacts guests to confirm services and recommend interval-based maintenance as needed.
  • Coordinates with parts for daily needs and manages on-hand inventory of common items for on-site readiness.
  • Based on MPI findings, notify the guest of any repairs outside mobile scope and coordinate dealership pickup and loaner arrangements.
  • Arrive on time to all appointments and maintain an efficient daily schedule.
  • Communicates with guests professionally, explaining services, answering questions, and advising on future maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked mobile service vehicle.
  • Accurately document all work performed and submit service records promptly.
  • Represent the dealership brand positively and professionally within the community.
  • Self-manage daily responsibilities and adapt to changing schedules or customer needs.
