Work in the nurses offices wtihin the district on an on-call basis.  
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma; Post-secondary degree desired
  • Knowledgeable computer user; understanding of learning skills
  • Solid communication skills
  • CPR Training/Certification
  • General First Aid Training/Certification
  • Willingness to work with students with unique backgrounds and skills
  • Team player and team-oriented thinker
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Organize the health office.
  • Manage medications.
  • Care for students.
  • Communication with parents.
  • Track all equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • General clerical duties.
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Practice and carry out rules and procedures as defined by the Pipestone Area School District. 
SUPERVISION:
Nurse subs report to the building principal/school nurse. 
COMPENSATION:
$80 for a half day and $160 for a full day and benefits include Earn Safe and Sick time leave
