Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Sub-Investigator to play a critical role in the execution of clinical trials. The primary responsibilities include supporting the Principal Investigator in clinical research activities, leading study teams, and ensuring compliance with study protocols and guidelines to bring new therapies and treatments to patients.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor study teams in the execution of clinical trials.
  • Screen and confirm subject eligibility for clinical trials in compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Conduct participant visits for diverse age groups, including medical history collection and health education.
  • Implement and coordinate assigned clinical trials including vendor management, subject recruitment, and protocol training.
  • Administer medications, investigational products, and vaccinations as delegated.
  • Perform clinical duties such as drug preparation, phlebotomy, and lab processing within scope.
  • Assist in coordinating research subject consent and ensure criteria compliance.
  • Contribute to community engagement for participant recruitment.

Qualifications
  • Advanced practice degree NP.
  • Two years of experience as an Advanced Practitioner with skills in phlebotomy, IVs, and clinical research.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Current unrestricted licensure as an Advanced Practitioner (NP or PA) and current BLS certification.

Experience
  • 2 years in advanced practice and clinical research preferred.
  • Experience with starting and performing phlebotomy, IVs, and collecting vital signs.

Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time-sensitive projects.
  • Experience with lab specimen collection, processing, and shipment.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local research regulations.
  • Ability to travel regionally and nationally as required.

Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times, have a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work after hours/weekends and participate in rotating on-call shifts.
