Job description

About the Role:
Manual Physical Therapy Specialists in East Lansing, MI is looking for a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives through hands-on, evidence-based care in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess patients to develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
  • Administer manual therapy techniques including joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, and myofascial release
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional movement training
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
  • Active Michigan Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Experience or strong interest in manual therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation
  • Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and patient assessment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and care teams
  • Ability to manage a patient caseload efficiently in a fast-paced clinic setting
  • APTA membership and manual therapy certifications (e.g., OCS, FAAOMPT) a plus
