Job Description
  • With his team, assures that the scope of work is executed with regard to HSE, quality, time, budget, quality and contractual requirements
  • Demonstrate leadership and commitment to safety. Actively implement and promote the project HSE program.
  • Encourage and motivate the site team (KVI and contractors) to work safely.
  • Responsible for the safety of the KVI site team, and the safety performance of contractors under his control
  • Represents Kanadevia Inova towards business partners
  • Management of Supervisor functions in the team
  • Monitoring of Construction schedule and elaboration and implementation of remedy measures in case of deviations
  • Review of construction progress
  • Monitors elaboration and provision of construction preparation documents and concepts
  • Monitors detail construction planning done by supervisors and subcontractors
  • Oversees sub-contractors reporting and provided input to site managers reporting
  • Cooperation, coordination and exchange of experience with site staff functions and other project teams and departments
  • Coordination of works executed by sub-contractors or other business partners, who are within the scope
  • Assures that daily / weekly meetings with contractors are held and documented
  • Verification of change requests (technical, time and costs) / lessons learned and presentation of a proposal for decision to the SM and PCM
  • Contribution in preparation and follow-up of deviations and claims
  • Coordination of intermediate inspection and Mechanical & Electrical Completion tests and TOPs
  • Is aware of the HSE requirements relevant to their role, and implements and complies with them

Qualifications
  • Several years' experience in construction of large-scale industrial plants as construction manager / site manager
  • Well-structured working method and documentation of the assigned scope
  • Management of several persons with various tasks within an area of activity
  • Coordination of a wide range of construction activities
  • Good market and product knowledge
  • Project experience in complex projects
  • Persuades business partners, including in controversial discussions
  • Based on his experience, he can find the possible way forward, adjusted to the circumstances and implement it
  • Contributes experience of putting into effect standardized methods in order to identify complex problems
  • Selects solutions and implements them
  • Can develop guidelines and requirements within a particular field
  • Must bring his skills to bear in a particular situation and influence the relevant environment
