Assists teacher with instructing general education and special education students (e.g. math groups, reading, behavioral skills, writing, verbal skills, etc.) for the purpose of implementing academic and behavior goals and ensuring students success.
There are several types of Instructional Assistant: Classroom, Physical Education, Transitional Kindergarten, Mild Moderate, Extensive Support Needs, Visually Impaired, Speech, and Positive Behavior.
