LOCUM Radiologist – Sioux City, Iowa

Diagnostic Radiology | Weekday Schedule | No Call

365 Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist for a locum opportunity in Sioux City, Iowa. This assignment offers a structured weekday schedule providing diagnostic imaging services in a hospital-based radiology department with strong clinical support and a collaborative care team.

Coverage is needed for an extended assignment supporting both inpatient and outpatient imaging services.


Schedule Model

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 8-hour shifts
• Approximately 20 shifts per month
• No weekends
• No call


Coverage Needed

• Coverage beginning May 2026
• Ongoing coverage through December 2026
• Full-time weekday availability preferred


Practice Overview

• Hospital-based radiology department
• Inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging responsibilities
• EMR: PowerScribe / Cerner
• Teaching opportunities available

Support Structure

Clinical Scope

Radiologists will interpret and review a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies including:

• Lumbar puncture (LP)

Expected Imaging Volume (Approximate)

• X-ray: ~30 per day
• CT: ~30 per day
• MRI: ~7 per day
• Ultrasound: ~10 per day
• Nuclear Medicine: ~3 per day


Clinical Responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies
• Analyze imaging results to diagnose and monitor conditions
• Communicate findings with referring physicians and clinical teams
• Recommend additional imaging when clinically appropriate
• Perform fluoroscopy-based imaging procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
