WSU Study Abroad is looking for two students with separate job responsibilities. At least one of the students hired must be Work Study eligible. Both positions will be related to marketing.
Position #1: Study Abroad is seeking an outgoing student with the ability to connect with others and promote studying abroad through tabling and classroom visits. Having an engaging presence, the student will be stationed throughout campus to tell their fellow students about the benefits of studying abroad, general costs, scholarships available, and, of course, which programs are available based on major/minor. It is crucial to be engaging and bring people to the table rather than passively waiting for engagement. Position #2: Study Abroad is seeking a student knowledgeable in social media and marketing. This student will promote studying abroad via social media, posters, and other promotional material. The successful candidate ideally has experience in graphic design and knowledge about social media platforms and trends. The student will be stationed in the Study Abroad Office. They will be required to maintain our social media presence by creating engaging content to be posted at least once per week on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
