As a proud Aveda Network Salon, we blend plant-powered science with our own holistic approach to beauty. Our second location, Locstyle South, is our intimate, boutique studio—a hub for creativity, community, and exceptional client care.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking more than a stylist; we are looking for a Studio Lead Stylist & Team Leader to helm our Locstyle South location. This is a career-defining opportunity for a passionate stylist with leadership qualities to step into a management role. You will be the on-the-ground leader, responsible for nurturing a small, talented team and upholding the unparalleled standard of excellence that defines the Loclife brand.

Who You Are:

  • A licensed Cosmetologist or Natural Hair Specialist with a proven track record in natural hair, locs, and textured hair styling.
  • A natural leader and motivator, eager to mentor 2-3 stylists and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
  • A brand ambassador who embodies our values of holistic care, education, and client connection.
  • A proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • You are ready to move beyond the chair and build something of your own within an established, respected brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development: Mentor, coach, and manage a team of 2-3 stylists, conducting regular check-ins and fostering a positive, growth-oriented studio culture.
  • Brand Stewardship: Act as the face of Loclife at the South location, ensuring every client interaction and service delivered meets our high standards of quality and care.
  • Operational Excellence: Work closely with the Brand & Operations Manager to manage day-to-day studio operations, from inventory to client experience flow.
  • Business Growth: Drive retail sales, help implement marketing initiatives, and contribute to the location's growth and profitability.
