Job description

The Infor SyteLine Senior Developer will analyze complex business requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions, while collaborating closely with functional teams to ensure smooth business operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Design, develop, customize, and enhance Infor SyteLine Cloud/CloudSuite Industrial applications.
  • Create and manage Infor Mongoose forms for improved user interfaces and functionality.
  • Integrate Syteline with external systems using Infor OS APIs and automate business decision-making.
  • Develop scripts to automate tasks and enhance system efficiency.
  • Use Birst to design and maintain advanced reports and dashboards that support business decision-making.
  • Create and optimize BQL queries for sophisticated reporting and data extraction.
  • Provide ongoing support for production environments by troubleshooting and implementing fixes.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and proper documentation.
  • Ensure system security, performance, and scalability in line with organizational goals.
  • In-office work 5 days a week at the assigned branch office.
  • English speaking during an emergency and while performing job duties where there is potential for an emergency. This does not apply to casual conversations between employees while not performing a job duty.

 KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-6 years of experience with SyteLine Cloud/CloudSuite Industrial, Factory Track, IDM, Birst, and Infor OS.
  • Proficiency with C#, Visual Basic, .NET Framework, Visual Studio, Mongoose Framework Forms, IDOs, Extension Class Assemblies, AES, and multi-tier architecture.
  • Ability to design and implement databases and SQL-based software solutions.
  • Experience in developing complex applications, modifications, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in explaining technical requirements and solutions to clients.

 SKILLS:

  • Proven experience as an Infor Syteline Cloud/Cloudsuite Industrial Developer.
  • Strong expertise in Infor Mongoose, particularly in the development and customization of forms.
  • Experience with Infor OS APIs for system integration and automation.
  • Proficiency in scripting within the Infor CloudSuite environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in using Birst for reporting and dashboard creation.
  • Solid knowledge of BQL (Business Query Language) for complex queries and reporting.
  • Ability to translate business processes into technical solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Experience with Mongoose and SQL is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with .NET Framework and ASP is a plus.
WORK SCHEDULE
  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • STATUS: Non-Exempt  $135,000 DOE
  • On-site at either one of this locations La Mirada CA, Schaumburg IL or High Point North Carolina
