Job Opportunity:
Deka Lash, one of the fastest-growing brands in the beauty business, is hiring a Studio Manager for a recently opened eyelash studio located in Woodbury Lakes Shopping Center. This is a Full-Time position. Your time will be split between eyelash application and managerial duties.
Qualified candidates must have a current cosmetology or esthetician license with at least 2 years of working experience as a certified lash artist/technician. The candidates must also either have obtained or is planning to obtain a Minnesota Salon Manger license

  • Encourage the highest level of customer service staff-wide
  • Respond professionally and in a timely manner to client experiences (both positive and negative) in person, on the phone or via social media

Staff-focused Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor the hiring and training of Deka Lash studio Lash Artists
  • Phone screen and pre-interview; make interview/hiring recommendations
  • Manage, monitor and mentor Deka Lash studio Lash Artists for ongoing success and future growth
  • Schedule Monthly pack meetings to discuss goals, recognize staff, and review Monthly Refresher Sheets and Promotions
  • Schedule monthly meetings with each lash artist
  • Create Action plans
  • Create and manage staff schedules, including handling same-day staff callouts
  • Responsible for 90-day and annual Lash Artist performance evaluations
  • Manage disciplinary actions involving Deka Lash studio staff, should they arise

  • Exceed industry sanitation standards
  • Comply with and enforce Deka Lash Corporate policies, business practices, systems and processes
  • Supervise and reinforce studio-level processes and systems
  • Monitor and respond to studio email account
  • Monitor and respond to studio and staff reviews
  • Coordinate and lead local sales efforts (social media marketing, outreach, studio events)
  • Ensure all studio systems are followed such as proper open/close, delinquent account procedures, cash handling, bank deposits, and inventory management
  • Ensure the facility is clean, stocked, properly maintained and operationally sound

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
