Summary of Job Duties:The Ceramics Studio Assistant will contributes to a safe and productive studio environment in the Ceramics media area. Through weekly shifts, the assistant will assist with the maintenance and safe use of all Ceramic studio work spaces . This position will assist students who are working after hours with their work, and also help to maintain the facilities and specialized equipment.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrolled at least 1/2 time in courses at University of Arkansas, Fayetteville
• Awarded federal work study funds in UAConnect Award Screen
• Experience with Ceramics processes, maintenance, and safe chemical handling
• Ability to contribute to the management and safe use of digital equipment
• Ability to contribute to a safe and productive studio culture
• Strong organizational & communication skills
