Physician - Hematology Oncology


Job Details:

  • Seeking a Locum Medical Oncologist for coverage on a weekly Monday through Friday basis

  • Coverage dates include: July 13-17, July 20-24, July 27-31, and August 10-14

  • Primarily inpatient setting with some outpatient coverage for physician vacation

  • Oversight and supervision of a Nurse Practitioner required

  • Willingness to enroll patients in research studies required

  • Call coverage required

  • Patient population is adult

  • Average of 12-15 patients per day in the hospital setting

  • Clinical areas include Oncology (Outpatient and Inpatient) and Hematology

  • Documentation system is EPIC

  • Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology required

  • Active Virginia medical license required

  • BLS certification required
